The terms that apply to any job carried out by MCR Services.

These terms are provided in English for convenience. The Dutch version is the original; in case of any difference between the two, the Dutch version prevails.
These terms belong to MCR Services, based in Winterswijk, the Netherlands, trading under his own name by Mike van Wessel. They apply to every quote, job and agreement between MCR Services and a customer, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
A quote from MCR Services is non-binding, unless explicitly stated otherwise. Prices given are indicative and based on the information known at the time; if it turns out during the work that more labour or different parts are needed, we discuss that with you first before proceeding.
All prices are in euros. For private customers, prices shown include VAT unless stated otherwise.
MCR Services carries out the work to the best of its ability and judgement, with the care that is standard in motorsport. A stated turnaround time is an estimate, not a hard deadline — if there's a delay, we'll get in touch.
If it turns out during the work that more is needed than agreed (for example because a part turns out to have more damage once removed), we discuss this with you first, before carrying out and charging for that extra work.
Parts ordered through MCR Services are sourced as closely as possible to the customer's specifications. Because parts are often bought in from third parties, supplier lead times may differ from the estimate given earlier.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due on collection or completion of the motorcycle, or according to the payment term stated on the invoice. In case of late payment, MCR Services may charge statutory interest and reasonable collection costs.
As long as an invoice for work carried out or parts supplied has not been paid (in full), MCR Services may keep the motorcycle or part in its possession, even if the job itself has already been completed. This is the statutory right of retention (lien).
Work carried out and parts fitted carry warranty as is standard in the trade, unless otherwise agreed for the job in question. Warranty does not apply where a defect results from normal wear and tear, improper use, changes made by third parties after completion, or circuit use of a part not intended for that purpose.
For race preparation and circuit use in particular: motorsport inherently carries risks that no preparation can fully remove. MCR Services is committed to preparing your bike as well as possible, but can never guarantee that a part won't fail under race conditions.
MCR Services is liable for damage that is the direct result of an attributable failure in carrying out the job, up to a maximum of the amount charged for that job. MCR Services is not liable for consequential damage, loss of income, or damage arising during use of the motorcycle on public roads or on the circuit, unless there is intent or gross negligence.
In the event of force majeure — circumstances beyond the control of MCR Services, such as a supplier failing to deliver parts — the turnaround time is extended by the duration of the force majeure situation. If this continues for an unreasonable length of time, either party may terminate the job free of charge for the part not yet carried out.
Dutch law applies to all agreements with MCR Services. A dispute is resolved by mutual consultation wherever possible; failing that, the Dutch courts have jurisdiction.
