Technical inspection of a motorcycle at MCR Services

Pre-purchase inspection

Buy a used bike with confidence, not with a guess.

Why an inspection

An independent judgement before you sign

A used motorcycle can look perfectly fine from the outside while something's going on underneath — or the other way round. A seller has an interest in the sale; MCR Services doesn't. You get an independent technical judgement, so the decision is yours with all the information on the table.

That doesn't just prevent a bad purchase — it also gives you a strong negotiating point if something is found.

Technical check before purchase
What we check

From engine to paperwork

1

Engine

Compression, noises and visible signs of previous problems.

2

Chassis & suspension

Frame, bearings and the condition of forks and shock.

3

Electrics

Lighting, battery and any fault codes via diagnostics.

4

Reporting

A clear report of what was found, without jargon.

What an inspection gives you

A pre-purchase inspection isn't a snapshot of how the bike rides, but a technical inspection of what isn't immediately visible: the condition of the engine, signs of previous tampering, wear on the suspension and bearings, and whether the electrical systems do what they should. You then get a clear report, so you know exactly where you stand before you sign anything.

Even if the bike looks good, an inspection is still worthwhile — it's often the problems that only become noticeable after a few months that can already be spotted at the point of purchase.
